Who we are
Innovator Bridge is assembled, not staffed. We hold the sovereign relationships, the deal structuring and the routes to capital. For engineering, manufacturing and specialist technology we bring in partners who already do that work at scale, and we carry responsibility for the whole programme. That is what the name means: not a structure over a river, but the thing that lets capability on one continent reach demand on another.
The challenge
Why sovereign programmes stall.
Rarely for want of intent. Almost always for one of these.
01
The structure is settled last
Concession term, risk allocation and transfer conditions get agreed after the politics, not before. A programme that puts risk on the party least able to carry it fails whatever is built on top of it.
02
Capital is approached at the wrong stage
Grant funding, development finance, venture capital and commercial debt each answer a different question. Approaching the wrong one costs months, and the second approach is harder than the first.
03
Capability sits on another continent
The demand is in one market, the manufacturing in a second, the software in a third and the capital in a fourth. Nobody owns the join, so the join is where it breaks.
04
The systems cannot speak to each other
National platforms were bought one at a time. Identity in one database, civil registration in another, borders in a third, none of them agreeing. Citizens pay for that at a counter, every day.
05
Nobody stays for operations
Advisers leave at signature. The asset arrives without the depot that services it, the data to run it, or anyone trained to keep it moving. Year three is when that bill lands.
What we deliver
Seven groups. Forty-seven capabilities.
Breadth matters when a programme crosses sectors. Electrifying a transit network needs finance, engineering, energy and software before a single vehicle moves.
01

How we work
Build, operate, transfer. In any sector.
Advice is where most groups stop. The sector changes. The model does not.
01Agreement
Structure
Concession term, risk allocation, payment mechanism, performance regime and transfer conditions. The most time, the least money, and the decision everything else rests on.
02Capital
Finance
We work out which capital fits the stage, prepare what that source will actually ask for, and make the introduction. Grant, development finance, venture or commercial debt.
03Delivery
Build
We bring the manufacturing, engineering and software partners a programme needs, and hold them to the outcome rather than to a scope of work.
04Operations
Operate
Daily running, maintenance regimes, data and reporting, and the workforce training that decides whether the system still works in year three.
05Handover
Transfer
Asset condition, spare parts, trained staff and documentation. The authority ends up owning something that works, not something that needs replacing.
We take positions, not retainers
Our interest is the programme reaching operations, which changes the advice we give at structuring.
We work where decisions are taken
Programmes stall in the gap between a ministry's intent and a procurement process.
We say what we cannot do
A capability we do not have is a risk to a client who assumed we did.
We do not publish our counterparties. Sovereign work depends on discretion, and the engagement is theirs to disclose, not ours. Ask us directly and, under the appropriate terms, we will tell you what we have done and put you in touch with people who can confirm it.
Why this matters
A system that still runs after we leave.
Build-Operate-Transfer only means something if the transfer is real. An authority that receives a working asset, staff who can run it and the data to prove it is in a different position from one that receives a handover pack. Staying through operations is the only way to know which one you are building.
Why us
What is actually different.
We bridge markets rather than represent one
Government relationships on one side, technology, capital and engineering partners on the other. The value is in connecting them, so we stay useful to both.
We carry the whole programme
Structuring, finance, build, operations and handover under one accountable party, rather than four suppliers pointing at each other.
We are assembled, not staffed
Specialists come in where they are genuinely better than us. Nobody pretends to hold every capability in-house.
We are direct about the gaps
Where a programme needs something outside our range, we say so and bring in the party who has it. That conversation happens early or it happens expensively.
Getting started
How a conversation actually begins.
Tell us the programme, the market and the obstacle. We will tell you plainly whether we can help and how we would structure it.
